What does it mean to be a wife? What does it stand for?

Wisdom that
Influences your
Family
Everyday
Being a wife means to be filled with Godly wisdom that influences your family everyday. Have you ever had "the perfect wedding" planned out in your head? Did you dedicate a little too much time and effort into those thoughts? Do you know every single detail of that wedding like you know the back of your hand? One last question: Did you put that much effort into God?
Ladies, the goal about marriage is not just to get married..it's to stay married! A lot of us plan out perfect weddings and expect everything to be perfect in our marriages automatically. The covenant is so much more important than the ceremony. Of course we all love to think about the perfect wedding, but do we ever find that much time to talk to God about marriage? If you are not married, do you keep God in the loop of your day to day lives? If you are married, do you strive to keep God in the center of your marriage?
Having Godly wisdom that influences your family comes from praying & fasting, spending time with God and fully trusting Him with every step you take & every move you make. Being a wife is a blessing, we just want to make sure that we are truly submitting to God's will. As a wife, you should build up your home, look after and cherish it, give God all the glory and praise. (Proverbs 14:1 NLT : "A wise woman builds her home, but a foolish woman tears it down with her own hands." )
Strive to be so humble and kind so that your children and others around you will know how beautiful it is to walk under God's light. Remember, the same way you can inspire people to do good deeds, there can also be a spark of bad deeds. We have bad days sometimes but we never want to get so caught up in our bad days that we start to sin and forget that we should be grateful for still being able to walk this earth. The Word says in James 1:19-20 NLT : "You must all be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to anger. Anger does not produce the righteousness that God desires."
Honestly, if you are having a bad day just take a few moments to breathe and talk it out to God or write it out. Pray about what took place and pray for the strength and courage to get through the rest of the day/night. It could be your smile that brings joy to your husband's day. It could be your laughter that makes your children cheerful.
As a wife, you can be the change that your family needs with one simple deed or small action. Blow through your family with security and love like a fresh wind. Keep in mind that nothing is more beautiful than a woman who knows who she is in Christ. Be the comfort for your family today. Ceremonies are fun to plan out, but they are not the main reason to become one with someone. Put in effort to talk and spend time with God. As always, stay blessed & encouraged.
